Bringing In the Holidays Right

Thanksgivings is over and now is the time we all prepare for Christmas. What better way is there to bring in the New Year, than to bring it in with a buzz? Here are my top six Christmas inspired drinks to help you make your Christmas merry.

1)Santa’s Sleigh Cocktail:

 

For all of the eggnog lovers this is the drink for you.

White sugar crystals, preferably coarse

2 cups store-bought eggnog, chilled

1/2 cup brandy

1/2 cup amaretto liqueur

1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

2 scoops vanilla ice cream

4 cinnamon sticks

2) Candy Cane Cocktail:

Instead of decorating your tree with candy canes, decorate your drink with them. If you are a fan of mint, this is your drink.

3) Rudolph’s Cranberry Antlers Cocktail:

For those cocktail connoisseurs out there, the Rudolph Cranberry Antlers Cocktail is a match made in heaven. With a sweet and savory twist, it is sure to elevate your palette.

3 sprigs fresh rosemary

3/4 ounce maple syrup

2 ounces gin

3/4 ounce cranberry juice

3/4 ounce sweet vermouth

Splash Champagne

1 marshmallow

4) Christmas in a Glass:

For those of you who love a great buzz but your bartending skills definitely aren’t up to par, this drink is your best choice. It’s so simple to make, but you get such a big taste.
